1. What is Ideal Time for Photoshoot?
For Maternity Photoshoot: Best time for maternity portraits is last trimester (32-36 weeks / 8th month of Pregnancy is best time for the Photoshoot. If you are carrying twins then 28-32 weeks / 7th month would be preferable.
Newborn Photoshoot: Ideal time for Newborn Shoot is 5-15 days old baby at this age babies are more sleepy & curled up easily for wrapping & posing . Max age we suggest is upto 5 weeks old.
Baby / Infant Photoshoot: During 3-7 months old - during this age group, babies starts to hold their neck.
Sitter Photoshoot: During 8 - 15 months old - during this age babies starts sitting with or without support.
Pre Birthday Photoshoot: 9-14 months old - Pre birthday session is more focused on baby's major milestone - 1st Birthday.
Toddler / Children Photoshoot: More than 1.5 year an above
2. What makes you different from other?
Experience & Expertise: Sachin & Priyadarshani – both are Fine Artist by education & so you can see their art in every picture. Both are International Award Winning Photographer in Maternity, Newborn, Baby, Child & Creative Categories. Sachin is Mentor of Moza Air & Influencer of Nikon India.
Amateur & Professional: There’s only one way to differentiate an amateur from a professional is the consistency of their work which you can see it in their portfolio. An amateur photographer’s portfolio may show some nice images, but those images will be from many sessions. Vise versa in Professional photographer, you can see many of nice images from their every session.
Professional will offer you a very limited number of pictures and will take 50-60 pictures. You can see Quality images consistently in their portfolio & recent work on their blog / website / social media.
Amateur will always ready to give you all soft copies (1000+ pictures) because you will be his experimenting material and you can find only 20-25 pictures useful from those 1000 pictures.
3. Do you provide all softcopies?
We provide only the no. of softcopies which are included in package. for extra softcopies check out ADD ON section in Pricing
We believe in Quality not the Quantity.
Quality or Quantity?
If you are looking for a photographer who is ready to take 500′s or 1000′s (unlimited) then you are not at right place. We are more focused on quality rather than quantity. We believe that a bunch of stunning images will be cherished for lifelong not only by you but by your baby.
We are more focused to capture baby’s moods, emotions, expressions during the session rather than to capture a baby full of props setup.
We do have unique and handmade customised collection of props, background, elements which make you feel always special. We believe in creativity and you will find it in every picture.
4. Do you provide home session service? In Pune only or do you travel out of Pune too?
Yes we do travel not only in Pune but all over India - world.
5. How will be the process of Home/ Destination Session?
1. This service is provided for all type of photography. We are committed to give you the same results which we serve at Studio session.
2. For the best results, first we discuss about your choice of setups & colour scheme over the call. Then as per your choice we carry all the material like props depends on the type of Photography requirement.
3. Setup Material like - wrapping fabrics, Maternity gown, furs, Flokati, Baskets, Mini Bed, Bucket, Wooden Boxes, Basket stuffer, Headbands, tiara, halos, Sash, Bean Bag, Backdrops, Floor mat, etc. Everything which is needed.
4. Apart from the set ups we do bring our Studio Light set ups, remote, diffuser, reflector, backdrop stand, etc. which is technically needed to give you service same like Studio Session
6. Why do you charge a big amount only for travel charges for home / destination shoot?
For details of home session please read FAQ no. 5
Charges cover not only the the fuel charges but it includes our time of travel + packing & unpacking time for the setup which we are going to carry + Extra time which is spend before & after for your photo shoot.
7. Do you provide costumes?
Yes we do.
For Maternity: Yes we have a beautiful collection of Maternity costumes / gowns which can be used at no extra cost. check our maternity collection.
For Newborn: We provide everything for the newborns. we have a huge variety in newborn wraps & styling which is included in every package.
For Babies upto 1 year: We have few options available from 3moths to 1 year which can be used for photoshoot at no extra cost.
8. What do you mean by a setup/theme?
Setup / theme mean creating the ambience which is in the background of the baby.
It includes the background, floor, concept, props and the lighting methods. For senior portrait Photo shoots, dress change and background & lighting change is treated as an additional setup.
9. Do we need to arrange props setup/theme of portfolio / Cakesmash sessions?
We do have a large variety in Props, Elements, Background, Floor mat. So you don't need to arrange anything for the set up.
We do provide all the Decor & Cake for the Cake Smash session which is included in the package.
10. Can we select the set up/theme?
Yes, you can.
Usually we do create the set up according to the colour scheme of Baby’s / Mom to be’s costume. Our lead Photographers – Sachin & Priyadarshani, both are Fine Artists so they have a lot knowledge of colours and creative elements which create a beautiful impact in photos . So we do suggest what will look best for you. Or you can pick up the props for set up / theme from studio when you come for the shoot.
11. How long will be the Photo shoot & what is included in that time frame?
Photo shoot may take 1.5 hours to 4-5 hours depending on your selected package.
Photo shoot time includes the photographers talent, creating the set-up, setting the light, posing the baby, comforting or feeding the baby if required, costume changes if any and actual photography time.
12. What if baby is not co-operating on the day of shoot?
We have Pune’s one of the best creative studio which is designed to make comfortable Newborns, baby, toddlers, Mom to be & Family. So when baby enters in the studio they start feeling comfortable.
When you work with professionals they have their own tricks & techniques to make babies comfortable. When you are dealing with babies, you have to be flexible in timeline. We gave ample time to settle down the child either it is Newborn, toddler or children.
so we get ample shots in the Photo shoot.
As per our experience, babies don’t co-operate when they are not feeling well or they are hungry or we are forcing them to do a particular thing.
13. How Can I Book a Photo shoot?
You can see packages in our Pricing Section. Once you finalize the package on your end, you can discuss over call with us and give confirmation for a Photo shoot. Advance amount is must to block the date. After completing booking formalities, your Photo shoot will be booked.
14. How many days before shall I book a Photo shoot?
It’s never too early! Usually we get booked so early almost a month prior to get availability according to your convenience.
Newborn session should be booked in last trimester of your pregnancy to avoid disappointment.
Some time, we do have last minute availability. So you can try your luck!
15. I don’t know when will be the baby born? How can I book the Newborn shoot?
We book a tentative date around your due date once you do advance booking. Once baby arrives, you will then contact me to schedule your session. That means if the baby comes early or late your baby session is booked guaranteed because we do keep our schedule flexible for pre booked sessions.
16. Can we select date for the Photo shoot?
Yes, of course! You can book any date which is convenient for you and is available with us.
17. What will be the process once we book the shoot?
Once the shoot is booked, we share a Preparation Guide via mail or message. Once you go through it there will be pre-shoot discussions to discuss with you over call or in person (if possible).
Discussion will be on the set up/theme, costume and preparations to be done if any.
18. What will be the process after the Photo shoot?
We will share a online gallery of watermarked pictures in next 2 working days after the shoot. Where you can select the pictures directly.
After getting final selection you, edited pictures will take 4 working weeks to deliver via online. If it takes a longer time we will inform you.
After that, in 10-15 working days your hard copies - prints / album will be ready at our studio.
19. How to collect Hard copies- prints or albums?
Once your hard copies are ready, you need to come & collect the hard copies from our studio. If you are unable to collect it, we can send hard copies via courier at an extra cost.
Your Hard copies will be safe with us till the next 3 months from the date of it's ready at our studio. If you are unable to collect hard copies in 3 months, we will not be liable to deliver you the same.
20. What if I need Edited Pictures Urgent?
If you need edited pictures urgently, do let us know at the time of booking. (You will need to pay an extra cost for urgent edited pictures)
21. What if we don't want you to use photos for your promotion?
We will be using your photos from session clicked by us for promotion. (As you know our profession comes under visual art. So if we could not showcase our work , we can not get more assignments)
We respect your privacy so if you don't want to use your photos for promotion, you can purchase copyrights of photos at extra cost. For copyrights please contact personally.
22. Do you provide Videography or Cinematic Services for Portfolio and Events?
